France - Day 9

We woke up this morning with a continental breakfast served in the dining room. We had decided to do breakfast in as we didn't know where to go. For 6€, we had tea, coffee, croissant, baguette, jams, cereal, yogurt.

We then headed out to the big Saturday market in Bayeux located at Place St. Patrice. This market is definitely worth a visit. I loved everything about this market. There were furniture makers, fishermen, farmers, craftspeople, seamstresses, sausage makers, artisans, bakers. There were also live rabbits, birds, chickens, ducks, in cages.

We then headed to the Canadian Museum at Juno Beach in Courseil du Mer. We thought we'd have lunch first. We chose Bistro d'Europe. It was the worst meal and slowwwwwwest meal we've had in France. Yikes! Then we headed to Pont du hoc.
We headed back to Bayeux and had a late dinner at L'Insolite, the creperie place.
